About the Programme

The aim of this fully funded programme is to support those start up businesses (i.e. within their first two years of trading) to grow rapidly and employ staff.

You will need to be prepared to invest or raise capital circa £25k to ensure you can acquire premises, employ staff and expand.

This is not a suitable programme for you if, you intend working on your own, see this as a second income or are unable to invest or raise capital.

✔ One to one support from a qualified Business Mentor who will help you develop your business plans and achieve achieve agreed milestones.

✔ Unlimited access to a localised team of experts who will be able to help you address and overcome the key barriers to growth. Including intellectual property, finance, employment contracts, property search and sales.

✔ Grant and funding application support to enable you to access the appropriate local, regional and national government funding schemes.

✔ Exclusive access to peer group workshops enabling you to share common challenges, best practice and collaboration opportunities.

✔ A unique platform to promote, showcase and celebrate your business success locally, regionally and internationally.

✔ Only 5 businesses will be entered onto the programme at any one time to ensure focused support and commitment.

The programme is funded by the Ashford Borough Council as part of its continued commitment to developing the economic prosperity across the area. The programme is delivered by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce.

Selected businesses will receive free consultancy support during the course of a year, access to free business growth tools, access to funded and part funded local expertise.

Your appointed mentor can clarify the details of the programme and the expectations of both Medway Council and yourself, prior to joining the programme.
